Waffle Video Submission Guidelines

Thank you for joining our community of creators who are helping to Film the Future of AI. These guidelines ensure that every video submitted to Waffle Video meets our standards for quality, ethics, and legal compliance. Our goal is to build the world’s most valuable, ethically sourced video datasets for AI training.
These guidelines are part of our legal Terms of Service. You will be required to confirm that you have followed these rules for every video you submit.
By submitting content through the Waffle Video platform, you agree to follow these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in content rejection, account suspension, or removal from the platform.
1. Eligibility Requirements
- Creator Requirements

- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must have legal right to grant licenses for all submitted content
- You must have authority to appear in or authorize the appearance of any individuals in your videos
- You must comply with all local laws and regulations when filming
- Content Ownership
- You must not submit content that infringes on any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
2. Technical Requirements
- Quality Standards

- Clear focus and proper exposure
- Stable footage (handheld acceptable if specified in Mission)
- Clean audio (no excessive background noise or music unless contextually appropriate)
- No watermarks, logos, or third-party branding (unless approved in Mission)
3. Content Standards

- Authentic Real-World Content: Original footage of real environments, objects, actions, and scenarios
- Diverse Perspectives: Content that reflects the beauty and diversity of human experience
- Structured Submissions: Videos that follow Mission briefs with appropriate metadata
- Creative Excellence: Thoughtful composition, lighting, and framing that captures aesthetic intelligence
- Prohibited Content
- You may NOT submit content that contains:
- Illegal Content

- Any illegal activity or content prohibited by law
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
- Content filmed without required permits or permissions
- Content that violates privacy laws or regulations
- Harmful or Dangerous Content

- Violence, gore, or graphic injury
- Self-harm or suicide content
- Dangerous stunts or activities that could inspire harm
- Child endangerment or exploitation of any kind
- Animal cruelty or abuse
- Inappropriate Content

- Nudity or sexual content
- Hateful or discriminatory content targeting individuals or groups
- Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
- Misinformation or deliberately deceptive content
- Spam or misleading videos
- Synthetic or Manipulated Content

- AI-generated or synthetic video
- Deepfakes or face-swapped content
- Heavily manipulated or altered footage that misrepresents reality
- Content generated by other AI video tools
- Third-Party Violations

- Copyrighted music and/or other copyrighted audio in the background
- Copyrighted material (artwork, branded products, etc.) without permission
- Recognizable individuals without proper consent
- Private property filmed without authorization
- Trademarked logos, brands, or products (unless part of natural environment and not focus of shot)
4. Consent and Release Requirements
- People in Your Videos

- Recognizable Individuals: Must have given consent to be filmed
- Minors: No recognizable minors may be in the film
- Public Spaces: While filming in public may not require individual consent, you must still comply with local laws and platform policies, and any recognizable people in the video must give consent to be filmed, as per our terms of service
- Crowd Scenes: General crowd footage may be acceptable if no individuals are recognizable
- Location and Property

- You must have permission to film on private property
- You must comply with filming regulations in public spaces
- You must obtain required permits for commercial filming where applicable
- You must not trespass or film in restricted areas
5. Metadata and Labeling Requirements

- Give us a good picture of what’s being filmed using natural language; this context greatly increases the value of the video
- Be truthful and accurate in all descriptions
- Follow any additional metadata instructions provided in the Mission description
6. Quality Control Process

Content that passes automated screening may undergo human review for:
- Aesthetic quality assessment
- Context verification
- Edge case evaluation
- Mission compliance confirmation
- Rejection and Feedback

- You’ll receive a notification if content is rejected
- Feedback will explain the reason for rejection when possible
- Repeated violations may result in account restrictions
7. Content Removal and Appeals
- Removal Reasons

- Legal compliance requirements
- Quality standards not met
- Safety or security concerns
- Account Suspension

Serious or repeated violations may result in:

- Forfeiture of unpaid earnings
- Legal action if warranted
